This resin accessory in 1:35 scale is not a model in its own right but a set of parts reproducing improvised armor of bags filled with sand. The set is shaped for the early hull of the M4 Sherman tank and it gives the vehicle a lived-in, individual look.
The M4 Sherman was the most widespread American medium tank of the Second World War. Crews often fixed sandbags, timber or spare track links to the front and the sides of the hull as added protection against shaped-charge munitions. The early hull had a characteristic shape to the front plate, which the accessory matches.
Wash the resin parts free of release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways while sanding. You will bring out the fabric texture of the bags with a dry brush and dark washes.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
