PANZER ART 1:35 off-road wheels for the Schwimmwagen are a resin aftermarket accessory – a set of road wheels with an off-road tread for models of the German amphibious car VW Schwimmwagen.

This is a resin aftermarket accessory, not a model on its own. The set contains five cast road wheels with a coarse off-road (Gelände) tread – including a spare – and replaces the plastic parts from the box on models of the amphibious car Schwimmwagen. The castings have a crisp rendering of the tread.
The VW Schwimmwagen (Type 166) was a German light amphibious car with all-wheel drive from the Second World War. On land it moved on its wheels; on water it was driven by a folding propeller. The coarse off-road tire tread improved its cross-country mobility.
Wash the mold release agent off the castings, cut the casting blocks away and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); sand with respiratory protection. The tread stands out once it has been dusted with pigments; a slight flattening of the tire where it meets the ground also looks natural.
The aftermarket accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
