Lifecolor UA852 modeling paint in a dark gray shade with a semi-gloss surface, carrying the Italian name Grigio scuro DPR.
Responsibility details are not available.
A dark gray tone carrying the designation UA852 and the Italian name Grigio scuro, that is dark gray. The finish is semi-gloss, between a matte and a glossy surface. Such a surface suits places where the paintwork should look cared for but must not throw back a sharp highlight: on vehicles, on machinery parts and on surfaces that get held in the hand often on the model.
Stir the contents thoroughly before use; with semi-gloss shades this counts double, because the components separate in them and insufficient stirring changes the resulting sheen. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging and use the thinner intended for this range. Apply in several thin, even coats; an uneven spray shows more on a semi-gloss surface than on a matte one.
The paint will be used by modelers who are missing a dark gray with a slight sheen on the model and do not want to build it up from a matte paint and a gloss overcoat. It works on whole surfaces as well as on small parts, where a slight sheen helps set them apart from the matte surroundings. The package contains the paint. Thinner, brushes, an airbrush and the model are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
