A resin set of precisely cast drive sprockets for models of the Sd.Kfz 10 light half-track tractor and the Sd.Kfz 250 light half-track carrier in 1:35 scale. The Commercial pattern corresponds to the civilian pattern of the period tracks. It replaces the plastic parts with sharper castings with faithful teeth and hubs. An aftermarket accessory for more experienced modelers.
Both the Sd.Kfz 10 and the Sd.Kfz 250 are half-track vehicles: steered wheels on pneumatic tires at the front, a tracked running gear with a drive sprocket at the rear. The sprocket is steel, so it shows none of the flattened contact patch of a loaded tire and its shape stays rigid. The sprocket pattern was paired with the matching type of track.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin castings with warm soapy water. Cut off the casting blocks with a saw or a knife and clean up the surfaces; sand with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Finish and paint the running gear before you close up the hull, and add washes and pigments for dust and mud at the end.
The set contains resin parts and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
