1:35 Sd.Kfz.223 is a photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Eduard for plastic models of the German light reconnaissance armored car in 1:35 scale. It is a brass exterior accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched brass set brings thin exterior parts for detailing a model of the German Sd.Kfz.223 light armored car in 1:35 scale. They are used to replace thick plastic sections and to add grilles, fenders, mountings and above all the fine structure of the frame antenna typical of radio cars. It is an accessory for more advanced modelers; the base kit and glue are not included.
The Sd.Kfz.223 was a German light four-wheeled armored car of the Second World War, serving as a radio reconnaissance vehicle. Characteristic of it is the large frame antenna above the body. It is exactly the antenna and the fine grilles that are ideal for rendering in etching, because in plastic they look far too coarse.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade and make the bends with a bending tool. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the brass before painting and spray it with a primer. Fit the fragile frame antenna only at the end of the build, so that it does not get damaged.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. It calls for a separately bought Sd.Kfz.223 kit in the matching scale. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
