This set holds photo-etched parts in thin metal sheet for super-detailing a plastic model of the German light armored half-track Sd.Kfz.250/1 in its late form with the so-called new hull (Neu). It is not a kit of the vehicle but an accessory that replaces or supplements parts of the base model with finer, more faithful items.
The Sd.Kfz.250 was a small German half-track used in the Second World War for reconnaissance, liaison and as a weapons carrier. The version with the new, simplified hull was built from 1943 and had fewer folded plates than the original type, which made production easier.
The parts are cut from the fret, bent exactly on the marked lines and glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or two-part epoxy. A photo-etch bender helps with the longer parts. Before painting we recommend degreasing the metal surfaces and covering them with a metal primer.
This is an accessory set, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
