Weighted wheels for the Sikorsky CH-54A Tarhe in 1:35 scale from Reskit - a resin wheel set with the tires realistically bulged under the weight of the machine.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set replaces the landing gear wheels on the model of the heavy crane helicopter Sikorsky CH-54A Tarhe in 1:35 scale. The wheels are rendered in the so-called weighted form, where the tires have a realistically slightly flattened and bulged lower section, as if the weight of the whole machine standing on the ground were resting on them. It is not a kit but a detail accessory.
The Sikorsky CH-54A Tarhe, nicknamed Skycrane, is an American heavy crane helicopter with a characteristic open fuselage frame, intended to carry bulky and heavy loads slung beneath the fuselage. Its sturdy landing gear with large wheels carries considerable weight, which is why weighted wheels look particularly faithful on a model.
Wash the wheels free of mold release agent residue and carefully cut off any casting blocks. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). They look realistic once painted in a matte rubber shade, with the tread picked out and pigment dust laid on where they meet the ground.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin parts. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
