Wet (water-slide) decals in 1:35 scale from Star Decals. This is not a kit but markings on their own for your model of the BMD-1 airborne fighting vehicle. The sheet is tied to the Soviet deployment in Afghanistan and to the period of the Cold War.
The BMD-1 was a light amphibious fighting vehicle of the Soviet airborne forces, designed so that it could be dropped by parachute. It was used widely during the Soviet intervention in Afghanistan and in Cold War exercises as well. The vehicles carried tactical numbers and national insignia, which make a model an authentic example of airborne equipment.
Apply them onto smooth gloss varnish, so that no silvering occurs. Cut a decal out, soak it briefly in lukewarm water and slide it into place. A softening solution will help seat the markings on broken surfaces, and a matte varnish will unify everything at the end.
This is an accessory, a sheet of decals. A model of the vehicle, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
