An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet GAZ-67B light field car in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The model offers a broken-up body, a separate canvas roof, the engine with its transmission, clear parts and rubber tires. Check the exact number of parts on the packaging.
The GAZ-67B was a Soviet light field car used in the closing stage of the Second World War. It was based on the GAZ-64 type and filled a role similar to the Allied Jeep: it served for liaison, reconnaissance, carrying commanders and as a tractor for light weapons. It was powered by an inline four-cylinder engine derived from the GAZ-M1 unit, and its simple, robust construction made it a reliable vehicle for the heavy going of the Eastern Front.
First assemble and paint the engine, the chassis and the interior, which are hard to finish once the body is closed. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and the clear glazing with cement for clear plastics. You can choose the canvas roof in the folded or the raised position. Once the base color and the varnish are on, bring out the details with a wash and apply pigments for the dust and mud effects of field use to the fenders and the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
