The plastic kit 1:35 Soviet KV-85 Heavy Tank from Trumpeter: the Soviet heavy tank of the Second World War with an 85 mm gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet KV-85 heavy tank of the Second World War period. The set offers a larger number of parts, the running gear, tracks and photo-etched parts; the model is built from individual parts and is meant to be glued and painted.
The KV-85 was a Soviet heavy tank created by combining the proven chassis of the KV series with a new turret carrying an 85 mm gun. The heavier armament was meant to answer the arrival of the new German tanks. The vehicle was a transitional type toward the later family of heavy tanks and was used in the second half of the Second World War.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the tracks before closing the hull. The cast turret suits suggesting the rougher texture of a casting with a fine filler. For Soviet green use an airbrush over a primer, washes in the recesses and dust pigments on the tracks and the lower hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
