A resin figure in 1:35 for filling out a vehicle model or a diorama. It is not a kit of equipment. The role of the figure follows from the name: it is a commander, that is a figure that naturally ties itself in a scene to a particular vehicle.
With a commander figure the seating is the key thing. Unlike a figure standing on the ground, you have to check how it sits against the model, and that before painting. The approach is always the same: assemble both the figure and the model dry, hold them against each other and look for the angle at which the posture is natural. Only then sand and glue. The commander's uniform is workmanlike, with more pronounced folds at the waist and the elbows, which come from leaning and turning the torso. It is exactly those folds that carry most of the effect when painting.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap, so that the mold release agent is removed. Cut the casting blocks off, level them with sanding and fill the gaps; it is glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a thin primer. If you are painting the figure separately from the model, leave the lower part unworked until you know how deep it will sit. Build the overall from a flat base, let a dark wash into the folds at the waist and the elbows in a targeted way and pull the edges out with a dry brush. Deal with the skin separately, as on a commander figure the face is the main point of the view. Leave the leather and rubber items semi-matte, so that they are set apart from the fabric. A matte clear coat at the end brings the surface together and fixes any pigments.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The paints, the glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
