A stowage set for the Pz.Kpfw. III, versions J to N, in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART: resin equipment for the hull. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set in 1:35 scale brings stowage and crew equipment for a model of the German Panzer III medium tank in the Ausf. J to N versions. It is not a kit but an accessory with which you fill the rear of the hull, the fenders and the stowage basket. The castings have the straps, buckles and folds of the tarpaulin picked out, so once painted they look like things somebody really piled up there, rather than glued-on blocks.
The Panzer III was the main German medium tank of the first half of the war. The Ausf. J to N versions already had thicker armor, and the late machines received a short seventy-five millimeter gun for infantry support. Crews carried spare track links, jerrycans, tarpaulins and personal baggage on their vehicles, because there was little room inside. A loaded vehicle is exactly what makes a diorama look alive and shows that the vehicle is in the field rather than on parade.
Wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water and rid them of the mold release agent. Cut off the casting blocks with a saw, level the surface with a file and protect your airways when sanding. Resin is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Lay the stowage out dry first and only then glue it, because once it has set it cannot be moved. It pays to paint it separately from the vehicle, since a brush is hard to work between the piled-up items.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
