Stowage set for the Marder III 1:35 from PANZER ART: resin castings of crew equipment and baggage for the body of the tank destroyer. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set in 1:35 scale brings the stowage and crew equipment for a model of the German Sd.Kfz. 138 tank destroyer, known as the Marder III. It is not a kit, but an accessory with which the free places on the body, the fenders and the fighting compartment are filled. The castings have raised straps, the folds of tarpaulins and the texture of the material, so once painted they look like things the crew really piled up there.
The Marder III came about by mounting an anti-tank gun on the chassis of the Panzer 38(t) tank, a machine of Czechoslovak origin. The fighting compartment was open at the top and protected only by thin shields, so the crew had little room and carried everything else on the outside. That is exactly why period photographs of these vehicles show so many tarpaulins, crates, jerrycans and personal baggage.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent and remove the mold release agent. Cut off the casting blocks with a saw, true the surface with a file and sand with respiratory protection. Resin is bonded with super glue, that is, with cyanoacrylate. First lay the stowage out dry and try where it sits, and only then glue it. It pays to paint it separately from the vehicle, because a brush is hard to work in among the baggage.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
