This is a resin accessory set, not a model in its own right. The set contains an assortment of stowage and field equipment of the kind the crews routinely carried on the hull and fenders of the light SU-76 self-propelled gun. The parts are meant to dress up a model that is already built and to bring a diorama scene to life.
The SU-76 was a light Soviet self-propelled gun of the Second World War period, built on a lengthened light tank chassis. Thanks to its open fighting compartment and low weight it suited the direct support of infantry. And it is precisely the open hull that gives room to show the quantity of personal equipment and stowage that this set offers.
First wash the resin castings in lukewarm soapy water so that the residues of mold release agent are removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a snap-off knife and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). For a realistic look, a base coat, shading and a closing emphasis with pigments and washes all work well.
The set contains resin accessories, not the basic model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
