This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale captures the Soviet T-34/85 medium tank in the 1944 production version. According to the manufacturer, the package contains link-and-length tracks (a combination of longer runs and individual track links) and decals for two Soviet units. It is made by Zvezda.
The T-34/85 was an improved version of the legendary T-34, fitted with a more powerful 85 mm gun and a new, roomier three-man turret. Its balanced combination of firepower, mobility and ease of production makes it one of the most successful medium tanks of the Second World War. The 1944 version came from the production of factory No. 183.
Glue the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic, assemble the link-and-length tracks according to the instructions and shape the sag before they set. Apply a primer before painting and spray the paints with an airbrush. The characteristic green comes out well with gentle lightening of the surfaces, and washes and pigments provide the final patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
