A photo-etched detailing set from Eduard for the Soviet T-55A tank in 1:35 scale. This is not a model of the vehicle but a set of fine metal parts, which will replace simplified plastic features and raise the fidelity of the build. It usually holds fenders, grilles, brackets, tie-down loops and small details of the exterior.
The T-55 was a Soviet medium, or rather main, battle tank growing out of the T-54 line. It carried a gun of 100 mm caliber and became one of the most widespread tanks in history. The T-55A version brought, among other things, improved anti-radiation protection for the crew. It served in dozens of armies and was deployed in many conflicts all over the world.
Bend the metal parts over the edge of a ruler and glue them with super glue. Remove the plastic features that are being replaced, degrease the metal before painting and coat it with a base paint. Weathering with dust and mud effects will bring out the character of the vehicle.
The accessory is supplied on its own, without the model of the vehicle, paints and glue.
