The set holds individual metal links of the narrow transport tracks of the Tiger I tank and wire for making the pins. It is not a tank model but a premium accessory that replaces the kit tracks with more faithful metal ones. Once assembled, the links are workable and have a realistic weight.
The Tiger I used narrower transport tracks for movement by rail, so that it would fit the loading gauge; the wide combat tracks were fitted on arrival. The narrow transport tracks are therefore typical of models showing the tank being loaded onto a railway car.
Join the links with wire threaded through the pin holes, secure it and snip off the excess. Degrease the metal before painting and prime it. Suggest rust and mud with a wash, pigments and drybrushing.
The set is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
