Tin milk cans in 1:35 scale are a set of 16 pieces of 3D printed containers by LIANG Model for dioramas and cargo scenes.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds 16 pieces of tin milk cans in 1:35 scale, made by 3D printing. They are containers with a conical neck and a lid, the kind that turn up in rural scenes, on the beds of trucks and at field kitchens. For a diorama they are rewarding in that several of them can be stacked side by side comfortably to fill an empty bed or a corner of a scene.
Cut the thin supports from the print away with a sharp scalpel and level the surface with fine sandpaper. Apply a primer before painting, as paint comes off the smooth printed surface easily without a base. You imitate galvanized sheet metal with a light gray touched with blue and a fine metallic sheen applied along the edges with a dry brush. Bring used pieces to life with a dark wash in the recesses and rusty stains around the neck and the bottom, that is where the metal wears most.
For builders of dioramas and vignettes in 1:35 scale who work with rural or supply settings. Sixteen pieces in the package are enough for a full load bed and for several smaller scenes, so the set is worthwhile for those who build continuously too.
