Metal assemblable tracks 1:35 Type 97 Chi-He from the Hungarian manufacturer Friulmodel — links in white metal as a replacement for the plastic tracks from the box.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a supplementary set of metal tracks, not a model of the vehicle. It holds individual links cast in white metal, which are joined with wire pins into a fully workable track. It replaces the plastic tracks supplied in the base kit of the Japanese medium tank Type 97 Chi-He in 1:35 scale.
The Type 97 Chi-He was a Japanese medium tank of the Second World War, derived from the older Type 97 Chi-Ha. It brought a more powerful 47 mm gun and better armor and was one of the more advanced Japanese tanks of its day.
Clean the casting remains off the links, lay them out one behind another and thread through the wire pins that form the joints. The track can be left workable, or tacked in place with super glue once fitted. The metal surface holds paint better once a primer for metal has been sprayed on, and the weight of the links creates a realistic sag over the running gear.
A supplementary set — it does not hold the model of the vehicle, glue or paints. Meant as an upgrade to a separately bought kit.
