1:35 UAZ-469 UN, IFOR, SFOR and KFOR markings in Bosnia and Kosovo

UAZ-469 - UN, IFOR, SFOR and KFOR (1:35, Star Decals)

A sheet of wet, that is waterslide, decals in 1:35 scale meant for marking models of the Soviet UAZ-469 field car in the colors and emblems of the international peacekeeping missions in Bosnia and Kosovo. It is an accessory for marking a model, not a kit.

The real subject and the markings

The UAZ-469 is a rugged field car which, being so widespread, also appeared in the hands of the parties to the Balkan conflicts. The set brings the markings of the UN, IFOR, SFOR and KFOR peacekeeping forces of the 1990s: white finishes, UN lettering and the relevant symbols of the contingents.

Use

• Work on a smooth gloss varnish so that the decals do not silver.
• Cut the motif out right to the edge, soak it in lukewarm water and slide it onto the surface.
• Adjust the position, blot the water off and draw it into the detail with a softener.
• Coat it with a matte varnish to even things out.

Who the set is for

• Builders of modern field vehicles in 1:35 scale.
• Anyone interested in the peacekeeping missions in the Balkans in the 1990s.

The set holds decals only. The model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
