A resin set of detail accessories from the brand Diopark in 1:35 scale. The package contains three blocks of the Soviet UB-32 rocket pod, that is of the tubular housings for launching unguided 57 millimeter S-5 rockets. This is not a model of a vehicle or of an aircraft, but an accessory intended to be fitted to and to finish a model that carried the UB-32 rocket pods.
The UB-32 is a Soviet block rocket pod with thirty-two tubes for the 57 millimeter S-5 unguided rockets. It was carried by combat and multipurpose helicopters as well as by ground-attack aircraft of Soviet and Russian design; it was also fitted to improvised and field-modified vehicles. The resin rendering captures the fine details of the mouths of the tubes and of the mounts better than injection-molded plastic.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully separate the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); wear respiratory protection while sanding. Degrease the surface before painting and apply a primer. Choose the shade in field green, gray or metallic tones, and accentuate the mouths of the tubes with a wash and with a light dry brush.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
