This is a detailed ammunition set in 1:35 scale, not a model of a gun. It contains turned metal (brass) rounds for the British 95 mm howitzer of the Second World War period. The metal construction gives the ammunition the exact cylindrical shape and a faithful metallic sheen.
The British 95 mm howitzer was used in the Second World War as a support weapon, for example in the close support versions of tanks and as a light infantry howitzer. It served to destroy fortifications and to fire smoke and high-explosive shells. Faithful rounds will bring an ammunition store, a crew scene or the interior of a vehicle to life.
Degrease the metal parts, level any burrs and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer to the smooth metal first. Distinguish the glossy cartridge cases from the more matte projectiles and bring out the details with a fine wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a model of the gun are not included in the package.
