This injection-molded plastic kit contains the heavy tractor KrAZ-6446 together with the ChMZAP-5247G lowboy semi-trailer in 1:35 scale. The package includes hard plastic parts, clear parts, photo-etched parts and rubber tires. A detailed engine and cab, opening doors, steerable front wheels and the folding loading ramps of the trailer can all be built.
The KrAZ-6446 is a Ukrainian heavy tractor unit with all-wheel drive derived from the KrAZ-6322 truck family. Coupled with the ChMZAP-5247G lowboy trailer it serves to carry armored vehicles and heavy equipment. The combination thus represents a typical logistic means for moving tracked as well as wheeled vehicles by road.
First assemble the frames of the tractor and the trailer and the suspension, and only then the cab and the ramps. Leave the large number of tires until the end for the sake of painting. Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement, apply a primer and spray with an airbrush. Use washes and pigments for the patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
