Hauler 1:35 American ammunition boxes of 75 mm caliber are accessory fittings for dioramas and for models of equipment, not a kit of a vehicle. They serve to fill a truck bed, a firing position or a rear-area scene.
Responsibility details are not available.
The accessory holds boxes for artillery and tank ammunition of 75 mm caliber in the American form of the Second World War. It is not a kit of a vehicle or a weapon but fittings with which models of equipment and diorama scenes are completed. The exact contents of the package, the number of pieces and the material of the parts are given by the maker on the packaging.
Rounds of 75 mm caliber were among the most widespread American artillery and tank ammunition of the Second World War and were carried in boxes that are easily recognizable. In a diorama they have a practical and a compositional function. They will fill the empty bed of a truck, create a dump at a firing position or serve as improvised seating or a table beside figures. Boxes set out about a scene also give it scale and suggest that the space is in ordinary use.
Boxes are never all painted the same. Lay on a common base, but then set the individual pieces apart a little, because in reality they came from different deliveries and lay outdoors for different lengths of time. Bring the edges out by drybrushing and suggest the scuffed places with small patches. Deal with the lettering and markings as you can, with a decal on a gloss ground with a softener, or with a thin brush through a stencil. Finally unify the whole with a thin wash and add dust at the foot. If the boxes lie in a truck bed, do not forget that less dust settles in the shade under a tarpaulin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and decals are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
