Bravo 6 1:35 US Army Inf. (10) - Buckshot Blast is a set of unpainted resin figures of American infantry in 1:35 scale, the tenth part of a series on a Vietnam theme.
Responsibility details are not available.
The tenth part of the figure series of American infantry from the maker Bravo 6 in 1:35 scale. The resin castings are supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is not a kit of a vehicle but a figure accessory to models and dioramas from the period of the war in Vietnam, which follows on from the earlier numbered sets of the same range.
The figures wear the tropical field uniform with a load-bearing harness, pouches and small equipment, and the pose is built for action in close terrain. It is exactly the dynamic turn of the torso and the arms that makes the set a fitting visual center of a scene, for example at the edge of vegetation or beside a vehicle. The castings are divided into the torso, the head, the limbs and the accessories, so a figure can be seated exactly to the ground. The detail of the folds and the straps is finer thanks to the resin than on the figures supplied in injection-molded kits.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the mold release agent disappears. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw, sand the surfaces wet and wear respiratory protection while sanding resin. Glue with cyanoacrylate and fill the seams with putty. After a thin primer, build the uniform from a base olive tone through a dark wash to lightened edges, and deal with the skin separately from a darker tone toward the lighter areas of the face. Finally, even the figure out with a matte varnish and add restrained dust on the boots and the trouser legs.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted as resin castings. The glue, the paints and the accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
