Bravo 6 1:35 U.S. Army Inf. (3) - Thumper Power is a set of two unpainted resin figures of American infantry in 1:35 scale, complemented by a decal sheet.
Responsibility details are not available.
The third volume of the figure series of American infantry from the manufacturer Bravo 6 in 1:35 scale. The package holds two figures cast in resin and a decal sheet. The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted, so it is neither a finished model nor a kit of equipment but an accessory for dioramas and models from the period of the war in Vietnam.
The pair of infantrymen is worked up in tropical field dress with a load-bearing harness and ammunition pouches, in a pose built on the mutual interplay of the two figures. The enclosed decals make it possible to add the small markings and patches, details that are hard to paint with a brush in this scale and precisely the ones that give a figure credibility. The castings are divided into torso, head, limbs and small kit, so the pose can be fine-tuned according to how the figures follow on from the terrain or from a vehicle in a scene.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the release agent from the mold is removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw, sand the surfaces down wet and wear respiratory protection while sanding resin. Glue with cyanoacrylate super glue and fill the seams with putty. After a thin primer comes the base olive tone of the uniform, the shadows and the lightened edges. Apply the decals only onto a gloss base, or a white film will appear under them, and once dry unify them with a matte varnish to match the surrounding cloth.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted as resin castings. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
