An injection-molded plastic kit of the American M3 Stuart light tank in the late production form from Tamiya in 1:35 scale. The modern tooling captures the riveted hull and the later turret without a commander cupola. The box contains optional parts for the sponson machine guns, a half figure of the commander and good decals with several marking options.
The M3 Stuart light tank took shape at the beginning of the 1940s and became one of the most widespread Allied light tanks. It was powered by an air-cooled engine and its main weapon was a 37 mm gun. The late form received a lowered turret without a cupola and on some vehicles the sponson machine guns in the hull were deleted. The Stuart fought in the colors of the US Army in North Africa and by way of Britain it also reached the Red Army, where it served mainly in reconnaissance and in infantry support.
Finish the running gear and the lower hull first, and only then close the hull up. Decide in advance whether you will fit the sponson machine guns, because they are optional. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement and assemble the tracks as the instructions show. Apply primer under the paint. For the patina, use washes in the recesses around the rivets and earth and dust pigments on the running gear and the fenders. Paint the commander figure separately and fit it only at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
