The Republic F-84F Thunderstreak was an American single-seat jet fighter-bomber with a swept wing, brought into service in the middle of the 1950s. It grew out of the straight-wing F-84 predecessor and served with the US Air Force and in a number of allied states. The landing gear spaces are among the places basic plastic kits often simplify.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean the surfaces up with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before the fuselage and the wings are closed, check the fit of the bays with the particular kit. The bays tend to be in a light shade; a dark wash into the recesses will pick out the detail.
