This is NOT a model of the vehicle but a resin set of replacement wheels from the South Korean maker DEF Model in 1:35 scale. It replaces the wheels from the plastic kit of the American M38A1 light off-road vehicle by AFV Club. The bottom of the tires is cast as sagged, so that the wheel looks loaded by the weight of the vehicle and sits realistically on the base.
Wheels with a faithful tread and sidewall are fitted to the chassis of the base kit in place of the parts from the box. A masking template for separating the rim from the tire during spraying is usually included. It is an accessory for more experienced modelers working with resin.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent, carefully cut off the casting blocks and the gates, and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
