A set of figures of American snipers in 1:35 scale. A sniper is a rewarding subject in a modeling scene: his posture tends to be low and still, so he completes an otherwise static vehicle, a trench or a corner position among buildings well and draws the viewer's eye to a single point.
These are accessory figures for a scene in the same scale. The 1:35 scale lets you paint a face and the small details of the equipment without reaching for a magnifier, and at the same time it is widespread enough that terrain accessories, bases and display cases for it are easy to find. Figures of this size also take later alterations well: adding a strap from thin metal foil or swapping a weapon for a more accurate part.
Cut any excess material away a little distance from the part with a sharp blade and sand the remainder, so that no sharp step is left. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Choose the glue to match the material of the parts: liquid modeling cement for polystyrene, cyanoacrylate for parts of other materials. After the base coat it is better on camouflaged figures to paint the pattern over a finished ground, otherwise the patches run together. The assembly procedure is described in the manufacturer's instructions.
Paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
