An accessory set from the Czech brand Black Dog in 1:35, meant for a model of the signals variant of the American Stryker wheeled armored personnel carrier, specifically for the version marked B. It is not a model of the vehicle but an accessory for it: it adds to the armored vehicle the things that go with real service and are missing from the basic shape of the model, namely cargo, kit and small items from the crew.
The Stryker is an American wheeled armored vehicle with drive on all eight wheels, built on the basis of the Canadian LAV III. It came about in a whole family of specialized versions, from an infantry carrier through reconnaissance and engineer machines to command and signals vehicles. It is the signals variants in particular that carry extensive communications equipment, which makes the vehicle a node in the army's tactical data network, and with it a characteristic tangle of antennas, cables and boxes on the hull. The vehicle became a symbol of the American light mechanized brigade and has been widely deployed from the Iraq campaign onward.
