U.S. Tank Crew (3) 1944-1945 is a set of three unpainted resin figures of an American tank crew in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Bravo 6. It is intended for dioramas and for models of Allied armored equipment of the close of the Second World War.

The set holds three figures of an American tank crew from the period of the years 1944 to 1945 in 1:35 scale. The castings are in modeling resin and are supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is not a kit of a vehicle but an aftermarket accessory, which will serve a modeler to bring a model of an armored vehicle to life or as the basis of a scene on its own.
The figures match the kit of American tank crewmen of the closing phase of the Second World War in Europe. From a modeling point of view they are interesting for their combination of a leather tank jacket, overalls, a tank crewman's helmet with earphones and accessories such as belts, holsters and bags. The poses are designed as seated and standing, so that they can be placed in the turret, on the hull and beside the vehicle. It is precisely this variability that makes the set a practical accessory: one figure can be in the hatch, the second leaning against the side, the third standing freely.
First wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the release agent from the mold is removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw or a cutting disc, level the surface and do the sanding wet and with a respirator. It is glued with cyanoacrylate super glue; classic cement for plastic does not work here. Apply a thin primer before painting. The leather parts look best when they are painted with a brown base coat and completed with a glaze and a fine gloss, whereas the overalls will take matte acrylics with lightened edges. Layering glazes proves itself on the face, and with a diorama then light dust from pigments on the boots and the hems.
The set is supplied as unassembled and unpainted resin castings. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
