Eduard 1:35 Valentine Mk.II/IV desert fenders is a photo-etched set of fenders for refining a model of the British Valentine infantry tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:35 scale. It contains fenders in the desert pattern for the British Valentine infantry tank in the Mk.II and Mk.IV versions. It is not a model of the tank but an accessory that replaces the thick plastic fenders from the kit with thin photo-etched parts.
The Valentine was a British infantry tank of the Second World War, valued for its reliability and committed among other places in North Africa. The desert pattern of the fenders matched the modifications for operating in sandy terrain and is typical of vehicles committed in the African theater.
The photo-etched parts are separated from the fret, shaped with tweezers and glued with cyanoacrylate glue. The fenders can be bent slightly or damaged for a combat look. Once the model is painted in a desert camouflage shade, dust and sand weathering will bring it to life.
This is a photo-etched accessory for refining a model, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
