Responsibility details are not available.
Unlike the previous numbers of the series, this package holds two figures according to the designation - the fourth and the fifth figure of Viet Cong Local Forces fighters in 1:35 scale. These are cast resin castings intended as an accessory for dioramas and display case scenes, not a model of equipment. A pair in one package is practical if you are building a scene and want the figures matched to each other in size as well as in the style of the workmanship. The castings are supplied unpainted and unassembled.
The Local Forces wore more civilian clothing and non-uniform kit, filled out according to availability. In a pair that stands out - each of the figures can have a different shade of cloth and differently carried equipment without the scene looking unbelievable. The figures suit village and jungle scenes, terrain features and the role of an accessory to equipment, beside which they will create legible action.
First wash all the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, so that no release agent from the mold is left on the surface. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw and sand the surfaces down wet with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate super glue and level the seams out with putty. With a pair, first lay the mutual positions of the two figures out dry on the base - a composition is hard to change once the figures are painted. Carry the painting in layers from the shadows to the lights and deliberately throw the shades of the cloth slightly out of tune between the two figures, so that the scene does not look uniform.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
