The fourth variant of weighted wheels for the VW Schwimmwagen in 1:35 closes the range of shapes with which the individual vehicles in one scene can be told apart. The patch is trodden by the weight of the machine.

If you want two floating vehicles in a scene that do not look like copies of one machine, a different shape of tire helps. This set carries the number four in the range for the amphibious Type 166, the rubber is trodden out at the bottom and the vehicle sits on its base thanks to it. Intended for builds in 1:35 size.
Floating vehicles went above all to reconnaissance and engineer units, where they replaced unreliable motorcycles with sidecars. On the Eastern Front they proved themselves in crossings of marshes, canals and smaller streams, because the crew did not have to look for a bridge or wait for help. Production ran roughly from 1942 to 1944 and some of the examples were built at the factory near Fallersleben. In the water the machine moved slowly but reliably, and driven front wheels and a short wheelbase helped it out onto the bank. Experienced crews valued above all the fact that the vehicle did not have to be modified in any way before entering the water.
When two identical machines stand in one scene, the eye quickly discovers that they came out of the same mold. A different shape of tire is the simplest way to break up the impression of a copy. Underline it further with a differing degree of dusting, a different arrangement of stowage on the fenders and the turn of the steering wheel.
The plastic vehicle and paints do not belong with the set.
