A resin casting holds a sharp rendering of the folds of the clothing, the collar and the small equipment that injection-molded plastic usually cannot manage in this scale. Wash the casting in lukewarm water with dish soap and let it dry out. Cut the casting block off with a saw and finish the surface with a file and fine paper, using airway protection while sanding. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue, fill the gap at the neck with filler and sand it down, then apply a primer. If the casting carries camouflaged clothing, take the pattern as a purely painting job: the base first, then larger irregular blotches, finally fine grains, always rather more subdued than they look on the original, or in 1:35 the drawing will break up into noise. Lighten the cloth of the jacket only slightly and handle the leather parts with a higher gloss. Finish the face and the hands with oil paints, for the sake of soft transitions. At the end knock the whole surface back with a matte clear coat and bring the gloss back at points on the straps and the metal fittings.
