Responsibility details are not available.
A decal set in 1:35 scale from Star Decals for marking the wheeled vehicles BTR-70, BRDM-2 and BRDM-2 Konkurs from the first and second Chechen wars, set in the name at 1994 to 2009. It is an accessory to a model.
The three types given in the name cover the wheeled part of the inventory. The BTR-70 is an eight-wheeled armored personnel carrier of Soviet design with a small turret carrying machine guns, meant for moving infantry. The BRDM-2 is a smaller four-wheeled reconnaissance vehicle with an amphibious capability and with auxiliary lowering wheels under the hull. The version designated Konkurs carries a launcher for anti-tank guided missiles and served as the anti-tank reserve. All three machines moved in this setting mainly along roads and in columns, where a tactical number visible from a distance is an ordinary part of the fit.
Wheeled hardware has curved bows and long rounded sides, on which a straight number wrinkles easily. It pays to divide a larger design into shorter sections and to nick the film between them. Lay the gloss varnish spot by spot, seat the decal and let a setting solution pull it down. The wheels and the fenders tend to be the dirtiest part of these vehicles, so aim the pigments and mud effects mainly at the lower half of the hull and leave the markings only lightly dusted.
The set holds only decals. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
