Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory to a model of the German Pz.Kpfw IV medium tank from the PANZER ART marque. The name states the welded rendition of the supporting bracket on which the return rollers are mounted, and the sequence number 2, by which the set is distinguished from the other variants of the same series.
The mounts of the return rollers changed on this subject during production. Older machines had cast brackets, and later the switch was made to assemblies welded from sheet, which were produced faster and more cheaply. The difference is well apparent on the side of the hull and it carries weight for identifying the machine, because you recognize from it which production batch the vehicle comes from. For a modeler who is building a particular tank from a photograph, this is one of the key details.
The supports are glued onto the side of the hull, so measure and mark the position in pencil first, according to the original parts of the kit. Symmetry of the two sides is more important here than anything else; brackets glued asymmetrically catch the eye even of someone who takes no interest in military hardware. Paint them separately while they are accessible from all sides, and seat them only afterwards. A darker wash belongs into the corners between the support and the side of the hull, which creates a shadow and separates the two parts optically.
