White and Snowy PzKpfw IV Ausf H is a set of water-slide decals in 1:35 scale from Star Decals for Panzer IV tanks in winter camouflage on the Eastern Front in 1943-44.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of classic water-slide (wet) decals in 1:35 scale from Star Decals. It brings tactical numbers, crosses and markings for German PzKpfw IV Ausf H medium tanks in a white winter coat on the Eastern Front in 1943 and 1944. It is not a kit but an accessory for finishing a model faithfully.
The Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf H was one of the most produced versions of this tank, with a long 75 mm gun and add-on side skirt plates. On the Eastern Front these tanks were commonly painted over in winter with a water-based white paint, which under chipping let the base camouflage show through. Decals for such machines allow for an abraded surface marked by snow.
First finish the white winter coat and its wear and only then apply the decals. Varnish the surface under a decal with a gloss varnish, slide the decal off its backing and seat it with a softener. At the end coat it with a matte varnish and add dust and muddy effects from melting snow.
This is a set of decals on its own. A model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
