A diorama accessory in 1:35 scale from the Polish brand Eureka XXL. It is NOT a model - it is a set of cast resin wooden ammunition boxes for the 75 mm Kw.K.40 gun and the StuK.40 assault gun in the L/43 and L/48 versions. The boxes reproduce the period crates faithfully.
The 7.5 cm Kw.K.40 gun, or the StuK.40, was the main weapon of the later versions of the Panzer IV tank and of the StuG III and StuG IV assault guns. The ammunition was carried in wooden boxes, which piled up at firing positions and in depots and belong among the characteristic elements of German dioramas.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); protect your airways when sanding. Bring out the wood grain with glazes, a wash and dry brushing, and set the metal fittings apart with steel and rust.
This is an accessory, not a stand-alone model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the basic model are not included in the package.
