A set of crew figures of the German StuG assault gun in 1:35 scale. It will complete a vehicle model and a Second World War diorama alike.
Responsibility details are not available.
The StuG is a German assault gun of the Second World War, that is a tracked vehicle with the gun mounted fixed in the hull and no rotating turret. That is precisely what gave it a low silhouette, thanks to which it hid well in terrain and was hard to hit. It could only be aimed by turning the whole vehicle, so the crew worked differently from the crew of a tank and depended on each other far more in the cramped fighting compartment.
The set holds crew figures in 1:35 scale, that is figures meant to be placed on a vehicle or beside it. A model of an assault gun offers itself as the first place for them: a figure leaning out of the hatch gives away the size of the machine at once and gives the scene both scale and a story.
Cut off the surplus material with a sharp blade a little away from the part and carefully sand the remainder so that the sharp folds of the clothing are preserved. Before painting, wash the figures in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and let them dry. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts. Try the figures dry on the vehicle first: hatches and the fighting compartment have slightly different dimensions on every kit, and it is easier to sand a figure's leg down than to glue it on crooked later. A dark wash into the folds and a gentle lightening on the edges will bring the shape out in a moment.
For modelers who build German vehicles in 1:35 scale and want to populate them with people. Paints, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
