This set from the manufacturer AFV Club is not a model of a vehicle but a detail accessory for dioramas and military equipment in 1:35 scale. It holds German twenty-liter jerrycans in the versions for fuel and for water - the two types differ from each other in their markings and in their embossed relief. The package is made up of injection-molded plastic sprues complemented by photo-etched metal for the thin handles and details.
Jerrycans are among the most typical accessories of German equipment of the Second World War. They fill the holders on the sides of vehicles, the loads of trailers and supply positions perfectly and give a scene scale and authenticity.
Cut the parts off the sprues and glue them with liquid cement for plastic, and bend the photo-etched handles carefully. Set the fuel and the water jerrycans apart by color as well as by marking, and add scuffed edges, rust and dust with washes and pigments.
This is an add-on set, not a model of a vehicle. Paints, glue and the vehicle are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
