1:35 Panther Ausf. D, late version — photo-etched set from Voyager Model is an accessory for a plastic kit you already own, not a model. The basic set of photo-etched brass is cut for the Takom 2104 kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
An aftermarket detail set in 1:35 scale. It holds parts etched from brass sheet, which are fitted to the finished Takom 2104 plastic kit; the vehicle itself is not part of the package. The manufacturer uses the Basic designation for sets in the basic scope.
The Panther Ausf. D was the first series-built version of the German Panther medium tank. It carried a long-barreled 75 mm gun, had steeply sloped frontal armor and the characteristic early-type commander's cupola housing. Late examples of the D batch differ from the first ones in a series of assembly details, among them the configuration of the mesh over the engine compartment and the fittings on the fenders.
With photo-etched parts the order of work decides it. Go through the instructions first and mark which parts have to go onto the model before the hull is closed up or the turret fitted, because once it is assembled you will no longer reach them. It also pays to divide the build into stages: first all the photo-etched parts on a given section, then painting, and only then the assembly of the next section. A dry test without glue on every larger part will reveal whether a bend sits into a corner or has to be taken a little further.
The set is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The kit, glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
