This brass photo-etched set from Voyager Model serves to refine a plastic model of the Hungarian 38M Toldi II light tank in 1:35 scale. It is not a tank kit but a refining accessory that replaces selected plastic items with fine metal parts, such as fenders, brackets and small details of the hull. Both the fenders and the brackets are based on the parts of the Hobby Boss 82478 kit.
The Toldi was a Hungarian light tank of the Second World War period, based on the Swedish Landsverk L-60 design taken up under license. The Toldi II version brought changes to the armor and the equipment. The vehicle was used above all for reconnaissance and escort work, and its light armor and armament matched the light tank category of its day.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and bend them in a bender. The fenders can be shaped with a slight curve for a realistic look. Use super glue for bonding; treat the metal surfaces with a primer before painting.
This is an accessory for a plastic model, not a stand-alone kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
