Two figures in 1:35 scale showing the Soviet crew of a three-quarter-ton Dodge vehicle from the period of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
The three-quarter-ton Dodge vehicles were among the equipment that the Red Army received from western deliveries during the Second World War. They served as cargo and liaison vehicles and as tractors for light guns, and at the front they were seen in the whole range of tasks, from supply to the evacuation of the wounded. The crew consisted of a driver and a co-driver, which is exactly what this pair of figures contains.
Two figures in 1:35 scale showing the Soviet crew of a three-quarter-ton Dodge vehicle. A figure comes out at roughly five centimeters in this scale. The exact poses, the division of the parts and any items of equipment are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder; with figures proceed cautiously so that the folds of the clothing and the fine edges of the equipment do not disappear. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Paint the face and the hands first, then the uniform and finally the equipment and the footwear. Soviet field uniforms carried muted earthy shades, which you bring to life with a darker tone in the folds and a light brightening of the edges. Try the seating in the vehicle dry while the figures can still be moved: the driver has to reach the steering wheel and the co-driver has to fit between the door and the instrument panel.
The set serves to complete a vehicle model; paints, glue and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
