Ten parts from which two chairs in 1:35 scale are made. Furniture for the interior of a building and for the open air.
Responsibility details are not available.
A chair is a quiet tool in a scene. It says nothing by itself, but it settles at once whether we are looking at an inhabited place or at an empty backdrop. An overturned chair among ruins tells a different history from two pulled up to a table.
The package makes up two pieces out of ten parts, that is, five sections per chair. That is essential information for a buying decision: this is not a finished casting but a small build in which the squareness of the legs and the flatness of the seat have to be watched. Anyone who does not enjoy such work should reckon on extra time and on a jig to hold the parts while the glue sets.
The reward is a fineness that cannot be achieved with a one-piece casting. Legs made separately may be thin, because a mold does not have to carry them. It is precisely the thickness of the legs that usually gives away a crude solution with furniture in scale.
A table, tableware and small objects from the same diorama branch are available to go with it. Two chairs alone on a base look empty, but with a few objects around them they create a living corner in a single evening.
The set belongs to the entry level of the brand's range, where most of its diorama items lie. Ten parts make two complete chairs. Making them from thin profiles would take substantially longer, and the parallelism of the legs would be a constant source of trouble with hand work.
