Quinta Studio 1:35 ZiS-151 is a three-dimensional (3D) decal of the cab interior of the Soviet ZiS-151 truck in 1:35 scale. The instrument panel and the inside of the cab get their color and relief at once. Target kit: Zvezda.

This is not a vehicle kit but an add-on set. Quinta Studio prints the interior elements three-dimensionally and already in color on decal paper, so that the instrument panel, the upholstery and the other inner surfaces of the cab gain depth and color without any hand painting of small details. On a truck the cab is small but glazed on every side, so more can be seen inside it than you might think at first. The set is designed around the Zvezda kit.
The ZiS-151 is a Soviet heavy truck with drive to all three axles, that is a 6x6 layout, built from the end of the 1940s. It was created as a general purpose chassis for carrying cargo and people and at the same time served as a carrier for all kinds of bodies, from workshop and tanker versions to rocket launchers. The cab is simple, with a wooden cargo bed at the back and a characteristic rounded front; for a modeler it is interesting precisely because the inside can be seen well with the doors open or a window down.
Quinta three-dimensional decals are released from the backing paper in water: the element is soaked for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slid off the paper into place. It has no adhesive layer of its own and holds on the gloss varnish with which you coat the painted, degreased surface of the interior. Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution at all, as they would attack the printed resin. Spray the cab with the base color first, therefore, and let it cure thoroughly. The exact procedure and the order of the elements are given in the instructions enclosed with the set. Lift the elements with smooth-jawed tweezers, position them dry first and only then press them home. The interior of a vehicle takes weathering well, so once the elements are in you can add a light dusting in the corners and on the floor.
This is not a vehicle kit but an add-on set. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
