Responsibility details are not available.
The ZSU-23-4, known in service under the name Shilka, is a Soviet self-propelled anti-aircraft system. On a tracked chassis it carries a rotating turret with four automatic cannons of 23 mm caliber and a radar, thanks to which the crew finds the target and tracks it even where the eye alone would not be enough. The dense fire of the four barrels was unpleasant for low-flying aircraft and helicopters, and it very quickly turned out that it would serve just as well against ground targets. The type served in the armies of dozens of countries and saw a long series of modifications; the designations M and M3 belong to modernized models, which are built on the same basis.
This is a kit to be assembled and painted. In 1:35 scale the finished model comes out at roughly nineteen centimeters in length. The number of parts, the extent of the equipment and which elements of the two versions the set covers are given in the instructions of the manufacturer.
The set will please modelers who devote themselves to equipment of eastern manufacture and to the postwar period, and it also shows to advantage in a scene with figures. Paints, glue, thinner and tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
