This is an accessory for models of large surface ships, not a kit of a vessel or of a vehicle. The set adds the small service vehicles that take care of moving aircraft to the deck, and thereby fills the space that usually gapes empty on finished models.
On the deck of an aircraft carrier the aircraft do not move under their own power most of the time. They are towed by low tractors that pass even under the wings and can maneuver in the tight spacing between machines. Personnel move around them, distinguished by the colors of their vests according to their task. A modeler who adds such tractors to the deck gains a setting with scale and movement: an empty area turns into a working place of work. The set also suits docks and quays, where similar vehicles service machines that are parked up.
First set the tractors out dry and find a place for them clear of the takeoff and landing run. Place the small parts with tweezers; for gluing at this size cyanoacrylate glue applied with the tip of a wire works well. Apply the paints thinly so that the relief is not lost, and emphasize the transitions with a darker shade in the corners and the joints.
The set serves to fill out a model that is already built; it is no substitute for the vessel itself.
