An accessory to a kit, not a model. In the package there is a cut self-adhesive masking template matching the deck of the Hobby Boss 86507 kit. It is used so that the wooden areas of the deck arise in paint and the boundary against the steel finish stays precise.
Masking film is sensitive to temperature and humidity. In a cold workshop the adhesive grips more slowly and paint then gets under the edge, while in great heat the film holds so well that it tears fresh finish off when removed. Ordinary room temperature is ideal, and a stuck-on mask should be given a few minutes before you start spraying. Let the deck cure completely beforehand, not merely dry to the touch.
Spray perpendicular from above and rather in more thin passes. Check the narrowest strips between the engraved lines against the light to see whether they are down everywhere. Take the mask off in sections with tweezers, pulling back at a sharp angle to the surface. If paint has flowed under after all, put the edge right with a thin brush in the shade of wood; once the clear coat has been flattened the repair will not show.
The template is an accessory to a kit. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
